You may indeed ask!

Lazyreviewzzz really came about from a need to cut down reviews to their main points (the core of what the game/movie/etc. is about, how it looks/plays and whether it's worth a look or not). We used to write reviews for another site and let's just say that they were really long. My longest review was 6,000 words. Average review length was around 3,000 words. Still way too long. So we decided that we would limit ourselves to 100 words for our reviews. That's also why our Nintendo DSi Giveaway Contest, which you should absolutely enter by the way http://lazyreviewzzz.com/2010/02/01/welcome-to-lazyreviewzzz/ (a free DSi and game are a free DSi and game, no matter what you think of the reviews) requires a maximum 100 words. Plus, it's a challenge for us, having to squeeze all of that information into such a little space. We're still figuring out the word maximum for our news articles and previews.

The conversations following the reviews however, can be as long as we like. I hope that answers your question, and that you'll keep coming back to the site.

May I ask: What is your point in publishing a site full of "reviews" that don't go beyond a single short paragraph? Am I unfamiliar with a deeper and/or more extensive gallery of your opinions that would give these shorter blurbs a context?

As it is, I can't find an use for this. (Neither as a source of information to form a decision before purchasing, nor as a source of insight to recur to after watching a film or playing a game.)

(Mind you, my comments only regard the film and game reviewing aspect of Lazyreviewzzz, as it was for that that it was advertised to me.)
