Oz the Great and Powerful Lazy PosterThere go two hours of my life. I might have been able to overlook the purposely-included overacting, gross overuse of obviously green-screened 3D effects, and the barebones black and white, good vs. evil plotline in Oz the Great and Powerful, if not for the fact that they ran throughout the entirety of the film! Granted, the actors did what they could with what they were given (kudos to Zach Braff especially), and I was actually impressed by the way they tied everything up in relation to the original film. But, self-deprecating or not, I couldn’t handle the sheer stupidity.

Verdict: Forget It
