Killing Them SoftlyFlowing with artistic sequences and boring dialogical exchanges, Killing Them Softly had the rhythm of a limping turtle. Then forty minutes into the film James Gandolfini shows up and word diarrheas for almost ten minutes about something completely unrelated the to the events in the film. What the heck is that? If it’s not progressing the story, keep your mouth shut. Quips and punchy little narratives are fine, but this isn’t unrelated story time. And who was the main character exactly? Pitt? Gandolfini? McNairy? I had no idea, and by roughly an hour in, I didn’t care anymore.

Verdict: Forget It
