- Kojima Studios, Platinum Games
- Xbox 360, Playstation 3
- Third-Person Action
Fast. Fierce. Fun. Yes, those are definitely the right adjectives for describing the gameplay in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Sending its regular stealth and espionage gameplay right out the window (or at least hanging out of it by a short thread), Konami turned to Platinum Games to give the long-running franchise a Vanquish-esque makeover (will the comparisons ever end?!?). Well, Konami, mission complete. It’s bloody good, though… quite bloody. The story is as clichéd and self-indulging as ever, but I was surprised to find that I kept wanting to delve further and further. It’s a satisfying turn for the franchise.
