ArbitrageThere’s something lacking about Arbitrage that didn’t induce the desired thrilling atmosphere it purportedly contained. Maybe it was that the police were highly incompetent. I mean, Gere left a trail of evidence behind him, and they still had a hard time convicting him? And what about the business deal which I felt was never fully elucidated? Or how about his marital issues? Maybe it’s all these things rolled into one. Either way, it wasn’t an awful movie per se. It had some intrigue and the acting was very good, but it still lacked the oomph factor.

Verdict: Forget It
