rock-band-031213_SinglesFrom the “You named your band what?” file comes Harmonix’s announcement for next week’s Rock Band Music Store update. Yes, next week we’ll see the addition of a track from a band whose name may or may not pay homage to the dog from The Wizard of Oz and a band whose name is essentially an onomatopoeia for bouncing. First up, the Grammy award-winning single Rosanna by, you guessed it, Toto. That’s followed by a Pro guitar and bass upgrade compatible version of  Oingo Boingo’s Weird Science. For whatever reason, there will be no third track in next week’s update. At least both tracks are Keyboard compatible.

The tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii on March 12th, except in Europe, where the typical one day delay applies as usual. And speaking of usual, the tracks will be available for their regular price of $2 USD equivalent each, while the Pro upgrade remains its regular $1 USD equivalent per compatible track. And here’s one final weird note for this week’s update. For, seemingly, no reason whatsoever, the announcement for this week’s update randomly included the word “Facetious”. Weird indeed.  Enjoy your weekend!
