Whether you’re tired of it, on the fence or can’t wait to get your hands on more, it seems that there’s nothing stopping Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed train. Yes, today, Ubisoft officially unveiled the next installment in the franchise, as well as the game’s full title. And so, running with the concept that a new hero gets a new number added onto the franchise, we have Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Now, Ubisoft has announced that it will reveal more information about ACIV this coming Monday, but if you’re looking to extract more information from this minor unveiling, it would be safe to assume, based on the subtitle and the piece of artwork Ubisoft used to make this announcement, that we’re looking at a game that will have a much higher focus on gameplay on the high seas. Can anything stop the Assassin’s Creed train? Who knows? Maybe this will be like the video game equivalent of the popular television show adage. Six games (not including the handheld versions) and a movie, anyone?
