Star_Wars_Pinball_logoTalk about using your partnering power. Zen Studios let some big news out for fans of its pinball video game franchise today, announcing that it has now partnered with none other than LucasArts (likely extending the studio’s deal with Disney and Marvel Entertainment) to bring produce a Star Wars collection of tables for its pinball titles across all of their current platforms and, for some reason, as its own standalone downloadable title. The collection will kick off with a three-table pack themed around Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett and The Clone Wars (please be referring to the 3D animated TV show and not the film).

The tables in Star Wars Pinball each capture a different moment from within the Star Wars universe and utilizes interactive 3D characters and gameplay features, kind of like what you would find in some of their other licensed tables. Some of the characters named to be included in the collection so far are Luke and Anakin Skywalker (not necessarily on the same table), Boba Fett, and Ahsoka Tano. Star Wars Pinball will launch with the three-table pack later this month.
