rock band dlc update feb 1stHarmonix announced today that it’s getting heavy for next week’s Rock Band Music Store update. Heavy metal, to be specific. You’ll get singles from Avenged Sevenfold, Great White and Iron Maiden. Heck, they’ve even popped in a very metalish Queen song. The list includes So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold, Once Bitten Twice Shy by Great White, Death on Two Legs by Queen (which previously released for the Wii version in August of last year. Then again, the other three songs were previously available in Rock Band Blitz to begin with), and a Pro guitar and bass compatible version of Iron Maiden’s The Wicker Man. Plus, all of the tracks are Keyboard compatible as well.

The tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii on February 5th, except in Europe where, if you read this often enough, you know the drill. It’s coming a day late for Playstation 3. All of the tracks will be available individually, for their usual $2 USD equivalent each, while the Pro upgrade will be its usual $1 USD equivalent per compatible track.
