- Third-Person Action
This week, Ubisoft announced the release of the second major downloadable content pack for Assassin’s Creed III, entitled The Battle Hardened Pack, for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game. The publisher will also be releasing the Pack for the PC version next week, on the 15th. As previously mentioned, The Battle Hardened Pack expands upon the game’s multiplayer features with three new characters – the Governor, Highlander and Coyote Man – and three new multiplayer maps – Charlestown, Fort St-Mathieu and Saint Pierre.
Interestingly, and I’d guess frustratingly for any Season Pass holders out there, the continuously mentioned The Tyranny of King Washington episodic single-player DLC content is still nowhere to be seen within this update, but is mentioned within the press release (as it has been with any mention of DLC for the game). The ongoing line from Ubisoft is that it will be coming in “Future Assassin’s Creed III downloadable content”, and since there are a total of five pack updates included with the purchase of the Season Pass, I’m sure there are a number of Pass holders out there thinking “They’d better get on that!”. The Battle Hardened Pack is available for the equivalent of $10.
