Harmonix announced today that it will be adding a brand new three track pack of Elton John songs to the Rock Band Music Store in next week’s update. Strangely, the pack includes a song that is already “available” as DLC in the Music Store (at least according to the Rock Band Songs page). The update, which is very Keyboard-focused as you might expect from Elton John music, features The Bitch is Back, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and I’m Still Standing (the aforementioned already-in-DLC track). All of the tracks are Keyboard compatible. If you’re wondering what the deal is with I’m Still Standing, it was included in the Blitz track list. So, it might be available in that game, but was not available as DLC for the other titles.

The tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii, on December 18th.  Elton John Pack 01 will be available for $5.49 USD/£2.49 UK/€3.99 EU/440 Microsoft Points/550 Wii Points. As usual, all of the tracks will be available individually for their usual $2 USD equivalent, while the Pro tracks… Nope. None of those this week. But there are double coins for Rock Band Blitz players who play the tracks from this pack this week.
