Sony Computer Entertainment America, along with SuperBot, Sony Santa Monica Studio and BluePoint Games, announced the official release of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale for Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita today. The Smash Bros.-inspired brawler is launching with a roster of 20 first and third-party Playstation characters, including Kratos (God of War), Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet), Nathan Drake (Uncharted), a Big Daddy (BioShock), Raiden (Metal Gear), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal) and many more! Battle Royale also features 14 different arenas that combine elements from various Playstation properties which feature dynamic backgrounds and play areas, items pickups and hazards that you may have to avoid during matches.

Also featured in Battle Royale is the recent Cross-Play feature, which lets you take your home experience on the go, or vice versa, so if you happen to have both systems and don’t mind spending the $100 for two copies of the same game, you can battle your friends anywhere, anytime, as well as Cross-Save your games over the Playstation Network. For a limited time though, SCEA is offering a special promotion for folks who buy the PS3 version of the game. You can download the digital Vita version from PSN at no additional cost, a pretty sweet deal.
