In Their Skin is a home invasion type film (admittedly, not my favorite genre) that takes place in a cottage. Yawn! Seriously, this must be the (roughly) 7,503,123rd horror movie set in a cabin secluded from civilization. And yah, the psychotic antagonist was an interesting individual who was well acted, same goes for his wife, but it brought nothing new to the table. Add on a build up brimming with sluggishly uncomfortable scenes, and all you really got is boring awkwardness punctuated by disturbingly uncomfortable torment. Fans of the genre may enjoy it, but I personally don’t see the appeal.

Verdict: Forget It
