- Playground Games, Turn 10 Studios
- Microsoft Studios
- Xbox 360
Here we are, folks. The moment (this year) for which Xbox 360 racing fans have been waiting has arrived. Forza Horizon has hit the streets and, more specifically, retailers’ shelves across North America. Featuring an open world concept, Horizon puts you in the driver’s seat as a racer who has joined the Horizon Festival – celebrating cars, music and speed alike. Available in a Standard or Limited Collector’s Edition, priced at $59.99 and $79.99 respectively, Microsoft, Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are offering consumers who purchase and play the game during the first week a free gift car (in-game, silly) – the 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor. Similarly, if you’re thinking of picking up the game and have not yet played the demo, you might as well do that before popping in your copy of the game, because you can still get the free 2013 SRT Viper GTS livery that was announced for demo players.
We’ve already given our quickplay thoughts on Forza Horizon from Xbox Canada’s launch event, which you can see here, as well as our appreciation to Microsoft for acknowledging the Canadian market. With that, Forza Horizon is available now.
