With summer now behind us, and Pid still remaining on the development block for a still-unknown amount of time, the folks at Might and Delight have offered up something more to hold our interest while we wait for the game’s release, or at least updates thereto. That said, the team released some information, and a trailer, on the game’s Hard Mode this week, which is opened up upon completion of the game’s Normal Mode, and it is very much tuned to platform gamers who enjoy a heady challenge (likely why this latest trailer is entitled The Challenge Shuffle).
What can you expect to see in Hard Mode? Well, Might and Delight is saying that it transforms the game into a “tough-as-nails, altogether different ‘adventure’” that will draw your focus away from the environments surrounding you and directly onto the enemy patterns. You’ll need to in order to throw the light beams in the right place, and with the proper timing, in order to survive to the next stages. You can check out The Challenge Shuffle below. Pid is slated to release… sometime soon.
