It appears that Microsoft isn’t the only one in on the season pass game. Yes, that’s right, Ubisoft is getting in on it too, with an announcement today that it will be be offering a season pass for Assassin’s Creed III, for all of the currently planned downloadable content packs for the game, five in all. The AC3 Season Pass will be available for three out of the four versions – Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC – with the Playstation 3 version available now via the Playstation Store, the Xbox 360 version coming on October 30th, and the PC version becoming available on November 22nd. The DLC packs will also be available for the Wii U version eventually (that version of the game is set to launch on November 30th).
One of the packs that Ubisoft is touting is The Tyranny of King Washington, a new episodic single-player campaign that will span three of the packs, and will offer an alternate history of the American Revolution. Portraying George Washington as a man who succumbs to the temptation of power, one whose reign suppressed freedom; a reign which Connor must bring to an end. The Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass will be available for $29.99.
