Harmonix announced today that next week’s Rock Band Music Store update will feature the Rock Band debut of the genre-eclectic rock outfit known as 311. The debut will include a track pack spanning the mid-90s and early 2000s, and a special bonus for Rock Band Blitz players – double the Coins any time they play any of the three tracks during the pack’s release week. Looking back from 2002, the pack includes Amber, off From Chaos, plus Beautiful Disaster, off the band’s 1997 album, Transistor, and finishes off with a Pro guitar and bass upgrade compatible version of their first major hit, Down. Beautiful Disaster and Amber are also Keyboard compatible.

The tracks will  be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii on October 2nd, except in Europe, where the 1-day PS3 delay is in effect. 311 Pack 01 will be available for $5.49 USD/£2.49 UK/€3.99 EU/440 Microsoft Points/550 Wii Points. The tracks will also be available individually, for their usual $2 USD equivalent, while the Pro upgrade will be its usual $1 USD equivalent per compatible track.
