The development teams at Ubisoft Montreal and cooperating studios sure are sticklers for getting as close to historical accuracy in fiction as they can so… scratch “by air” from this mix. Ubisoft released the fourth and final part of Inside Assassin’s Creed III this week, entitled America, by Land and Sea. This episode focuses on the variety of locations players will visit in this installment of the franchise, from streets of major cities like Boston and New York, to the American frontier, and, being introduced in this title, the open seas.

You’ll get an in-depth look at some of the locations, as well as the systems behind what makes them look the way they will in the game. That includes weather systems, as well as updated crowd artificial intelligence programming. Assassin’s Creed III will also feature more interactions with animals, so there is an animal AI system as well. All that in more can be seen via YouTube.
