Rabid fans and soccer hooligans alike, your time is coming! Konami announced today that Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 will be releasing just before the end of September. Coming September 25th, the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC versions will hit retailers across North America – some of which are now offering pre-orders for the game. Pre-ordering PES 2013 at a participating GameStop or EB Games will get you an exclusive limited edition SteelBook case for the game that features an homage to the UEFA Champion’s League and/or (the announcement’s terminology was a tad confusing) an exclusive Copa Libertadores Steelbook.

PES 2013 will be available for $59.99 USD/CAD. If you’re not already familiar with the game, it’s Konami’s constantly evolving (yes, I know there’s a pun. Leave it alone) soccer video game franchise. This latest installment features three key enhancements – ProActive AI, which is meant to eliminate any illogical actions from AI players’ movements, FullControl , which is meant to give you complete control over the ball, and Player ID, which integrates signature skills and tricks from a variety of the game’s star players.

Update: Konami got back to us and, indeed you only have the choice of just one of the two Steelbooks when you pre-order the game.
