Konami announced the release, today, of the demo Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2013, for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Accompanying the release of the demo is a brand new trailer (below) featuring the game’s cover athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo. So if you happen to A: be a soccer fan and/or B: are as excited as Nathan is about PES 2013, it is quite likely that you will want to download this demo immediately.
As we’ve explained previously, PES 2013 features a three key system, using PES FullControl, Player ID and ProActive AI to enhance the core gameplay experience. You’ll be able to use those features in the demo, playing as one of eight licensed teams – Germany, England, Portugal, and Italy from the European field, and Santos FC, SC International, Fluminense and Flamengo from the Copa Lubertadores “mode”. It also features all the difficulty settings and localized language setting, so players can get the full gameplay experience. Since PES 2013 is set to release this fall, and we’re only just into the beginning of August, this should tide you over just long enough to not completely shred your football-loving hair out. No final release date has been set just yet.
