Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced the details and pricing for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 Assassin’s Creed III Limited Edition, which will be launching on October 30th, alongside the standard edition of the game. The Limited Edition is quite packed (at $119.99 USD, it sure better be!), with a copy of the game, a 9.44” Assassin statue featuring Connor – this installment’s main character – poised to strike, with his tomahawk and concealed blade, an embroidered 28”x48” AC-inspired colonial flag and a 3”x3.25” metal belt buckle. It’s available for pre-order at GameStop, Amazon.com, Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart.
If you’re a PC gamer, you can also get yourself some major extras, at a much lower price point at that. Ubisoft is also offering a Digital Deluxe Edition available for PC gamers, with a copy of the game, George Washington’s notebook revealing the true story of the Assassins and the Templars during the American Revolution, three extra single player missions that will have you searching for Captain Kidd’s fabled lost treasure, some extra uniforms and weapons for use in the campaign, two multiplayer characters and a collection of audio tracks from previous Assassin’s Creed games. The Digital Deluxe Edition will be $64.99.
