Who would of guessed that an ass-kicking, blood spurting hockey flick could be so darn charming? For months now people have been telling me that I had to see Goon, but I’ve been reluctant. A movie about a thug of a hockey player didn’t really do anything for me conceptually. But man oh man, this movie was not just bloody fun and bone crunching hilariousness, but Seann William Scott’s character was so lovable, that even when I was laughing at his stupidity and cringing as he was beating the living hell out of people, inside I was saying, “aww”.

Verdict: Rent It
