Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to like Men in Black 3. With a fifteen-year fissure separating it from the first film, I wasn’t confident this movie would be able to bring Men in Black back to its original glory. Add in that the second film wasn’t that great and you’ve got a recipe for serious doubt. Well, I’m glad to say that I was somewhat wrong. Sure the plot was precariously structured logically, and there were some missed opportunities for clever quips, but Josh Brolin’s excellent acting, Will Smith’s magnetic screen presence and decent entertainment value made this movie moderately enjoyable.

Verdict: Wait for the DVD/Blu-ray
