» Rants: Hungering for the Games

We’re only a couple days away from the biggest book-to-film adaptation launch since the Twilight franchise. Actually, that’s probably not saying much when you consider how fresh that franchise is. Everybody seems to be capitalizing on one book series or another these days (not to say that such news is necessarily a good thing. Especially in the case of Twilight…). But none is capturing the attention of such varied age groups as The Hunger Games. Whether you’re 10-13, 18-24 or, heck, even heading up into the 40s, it seems like somebody in between is reading the books or excited for the film’s release this Friday. So what better time to share our thoughts on the upcoming release and take a short look at the story (or at least attempt to do so…)?
