- Kojima Productions
I have zero experience with the Metal Gear Solid franchise. For years I’ve been hearing about the awesomeness that is Hideo Kojima and the game series in general. Well, I finally got a chance to play one of the games, on the 3DS. Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater is one of the few games that currently utilizes the Circle Pad Pro, and is also one of the few action/shooting games for the device. From what I played, the controls are solid and the game itself seems like it could be immersive. Unfortunately, thanks to ridiculously lengthy cut scenes, I didn’t/couldn’t enjoy it.
Don’t take this to mean that I am not recommending it, the game does have a very large following so I’m sure it’s a solid game with a strong storyline, but I personally just can’t be bothered to sit and watch hours of cinematics, especially on a handheld device.
The video below will explain my thoughts in slightly more (and slightly ridiculous) detail, so check it out! After watching the video, let me know what you think below in the comments. Do you mind lengthy cut scenes?
