Much has been said of Nintendo accessories in the past. Some have been called glorified paperweights, others have found success with the simple knowledge that they are used every day, alongside main controllers (like the Virtual Console attachment for the Wii Remote, for instance). Others, like the Wii Vitality Sensor, have, thankfully never seen the light of day beyond conference showcases (and may they stay that way). And amidst all of this thought comes the new Circle Pad Pro accessory for Nintendo 3DS. At an MSRP of $19.99 USD/CAD, this unit adds on functionality that is currently yet to be fully realized. For Nintendo’s sake, we can only hope that developers find it useful enough that they’ll keep it in mind when developing 3DS titles. But what about its look and feel? Well, Nathan has a lot to say about that.
