I don’t think I’m alone when I say that I wish I could fly. It was a childhood fantasy that I would still love to see realized. Just imagine! And for that, Chronicle was enjoyable. It tickled that bone in me that wants supernatural abilities, that wants the power of flight. And though it wasn’t without its faults, it had potential. I was hopeful for what the story would offer. And then the prosaic action and explosions came along, and that optimistic bubble popped. My expression quickly shifted from smile to frown, and it stayed permanently fixed that way.
