There is no way I can justify or defend the utter inanity that is Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. It’s pure nonsense, filled with plot holes that double as excuses to insert the use of gadgetry or stunts just to make the whole production seem more “Ooh” and “Aah”-worthy. It does have its slight saving grace though, much in the way that Avatar did in theatres, because, while it’s not a great film by any stretch of the imagination, it is a heck of a fun ride. Especially in IMAX. It’s big. It’s loud, surprisingly funny and, most importantly, action-packed.

Verdict: Go See It In Theaters
