Unless it’s overly funny or has strong characters, it’s hard to recommend a movie that is more predictable than the Westboro Baptist Church (we get it, you’re crazy). For me, story is paramount, and if I’ve already seen a movie with a certain structure and plotline countless times, it’s difficult to enjoy it. And that’s my problem with Fright Night (the 2011 version, not to be mistaken with the one from ’85). However, I must give credit where credit is due, and this film deserves some for not being angst filled or melodramatic, and for its commendable tone and pacing.

Verdict: Forget It
