Alright, this bit of news is actually a week late, but still well worth mentioning. Konami released some fresh screenshots from its upcoming “dismemberment-happy”, third-person shooter title, NeverDead last week. For those unfamiliar with the title, NeverDead follows the story of Bryce Boltzman, a demon-hunter cursed with a life of immortality and a life of aimless wandering, after his wife is murdered and he is defeated at the hands of the Demon King, Astaroth (not to be confused with Warcraft). That is, until his aid is enlisted by the National Anti-Demon Agency (NADA) in the modern day. Alongside his NADA partner, Arcadia, he battles demons from the dawn of time.

Oh, and he can lose his limbs and keep fighting. I must have forgotten to mention that part… Yes, you can detach and regenerate limbs, and use them as weapons in addition to your arsenal of swords and guns. Heck, you can even rip off Bryce’s head and roll around… for reasons of which I cannot really think at the moment. The point is, you can do some pretty crazy stuff in this game. You can see the screenshots below. NeverDead is scheduled to release on January 31st.
