» DLC: Freakish Monsters Make Their Way to Rock Band in Next Week’s Music Store Update

In case the “Freakish Monsters” headline didn’t grab you enough to give it away, you might be pleased to know that Frankenstein and the Freaks on a Leash will be coming to Rock Band next week. I speak, of course, of the one and only super-talented The Edgar Winter Group and KoRn. The Edgar Winter Group’s Free Ride and a Pro guitar and bass compatible version of Frankenstein (on which Winter played most, if not all of the instruments at one point or another), along with KoRn’s Freak on a Leash and Falling Away from Me. Both of the Edgar Winter tracks will also be Keyboard compatible.

The tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii on January 17th, except in Europe, where the Playstation 3 update will be back to its usual day late, and will include the songs from the past three updates that had been delayed until now. And for the first time in weeks, the tracks in this week’s update will only be available individually, for the usual $2 USD equivalent each. The Pro guitar update for Frankenstein will be available for the usual $0.99 USD equivalent.
