Michel Ancel and team have done it again, by going in reverse (sort of). Rayman Origins is an absolute blast from the past as far as the platforming elements are concerned, but there is so much more happening in this game, with its hand-drawn characters, and environments, its wonderfully oddball musical score, and its surprisingly high level of replay value, that adds more to the franchise than ever before. Best of all, the franchise’s quirky nature is alive and kicking, within all of the elements I mentioned above. It’s fast-paced fun for four! Just try not to get too slap-happy.

Verdict: Buy It
