It’s been under construction for quite a while, and Sony Computer Entertainment Canada (SCEC) officially announced the opening of the Playstation Lounge at GameStop/EB Games’ flagship store in downtown Toronto. The lounge was designed from the ground up to be a Sony-centric one-stop shop for customers’ Playstation needs. You won’t just find Playstation products there, of course. The lounge will also show off other Sony products as well (just in case you couldn’t figure out what Sony-centric meant). In honour of the opening, SCEC will be holding an official Grand Opening event for both the media and the public this coming Sunday, November 13th.

The event will feature special guests like Luke Schenn, defenceman for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Robert Cogburn, Game Designer from Uncharted franchise developer Naughty Dog. The first 100 fans to line up at the store will get a puck autographed by Schenn and an autographed Nathan Drake scarf from Cogburn. In case you’re not familiar with the flagship store’s location and you’re itching to go to the event, you’ll find it directly across from the Eaton Centre at 267 Yonge Street. It’s all going down from 2-5 pm, on the store’s second floor.
