Okay. Consider me wowed. Nathan and I got the chance to attend Sony’s annual Playstation Holiday Preview event last week and, as you might expect, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception was the biggest title on the block. And I mean that in the literal sense. Its display even had a crashed plane, giant Nathan Drake and miniature desert. And, this being my first time playing the game, I couldn’t help being impressed. The graphics are absolutely stunning, even when sitting a non-recommended two feet away from the screen, the action is high-impact and intense, even if you’re just watching someone else play and one of the two levels Sony was showing off featured Drake boarding a plane via the landing gear, for goodness sake!

Of all the titles giving me a reason to consider purchasing a Playstation 3, Uncharted 3 is definitely high on the list (I would, of course, want to play through the first two games as well). It probably goes without saying that this is one title to put on your holiday season list. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be releasing on November 1st. Now… to buy that PS3 or not…
