Eli pretty much entirely captured my thoughts on Duke Nukem Forever. I think I’ll just add that I did appreciate some of the self-referential humor and I did have some fun playing it, but for a game that was twelve years in the making it was far too standard, and uninspired. Also, the loading times were a total pain in the butt, and the graphics weren’t all that great.
