What I liked most about Our Stupid Brother, aside from its charm and comedy, was how undemanding and uncomplicated it was. Many movies these days (Cowboys & Aliens for example) make the story overly complex for no reason. They oblige you to be attentive for plotlines that are usually just dumb. This movie, conversely, was simple, and though it wasn’t an amazing feat in filmmaking, and it surely won’t win any Oscars, being able to sit back and just enjoy a movie is a welcome change. Also, it was nice to see a comedy that didn’t rely on cheap humor.

Verdict: Wait for the DVD/Blu-ray
