There may have been elements of horror in F.E.A.R. 3, but overall it just felt like a more ominous Call of Duty. Sure there were some spooks, but those moments were few and far between, and the rest (or majority) of the game was just your standard first-person shooter. Not to say that it isn’t fun, for a cover-based shooter it was compelling enough to keep me playing, the graphics were solid, and being able to play as Fettel (the protagonist’s telepathic brother) was nice too, but I wasn’t blown away by this title. Ultimately, I’d say it’s satisfactory.
