Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the past two games in the Call of Juarez franchise were released before their completion. Regardless of who’s to blame for that, be it Ubisoft for pushing for too early a release date, or Techland for claiming they were ready before they truly were, Bound in Blood felt like a massive tech demo, and The Cartel is encumbered by graphical, audio and gameplay glitches. It’s a shame because the stories are gritty and compelling, aside from the rampant swearing and pointlessly overdone nudity, so these titles would otherwise definitely be worth purchasing.
