The Pro Evolution Soccer franchise is about to evolve again, as Konami announced that the next installment will release this fall. PES 2012 features a more refined look, and an increased emphasis on team play, thanks to its new Teammate Control system. The system allows you to use both control sticks to manage two players simultaneously. You can get help from the in-game system by choosing the Assisted mode to prompt a teammate to make a timed run to cut inside or receive a ball or use the complete Manual mode and control both players!
The game also takes Konami’s partnership with UEFA to a new level by having even the referees and their assistants dressed in the official kits of the various leagues and tournaments, including UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup. The game also features licensing for the Copa Santander Libertadores, so if officially licensed teams, stadiums and officials, and enhanced gameplay are your bag, PES 2012 is going to take you beyond what you’ve ever seen before. PES 2012 will be releasing in North America for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on September 27th. Wii, PS2 and PSP version release dates haven’t been announced yet.
