When you’ve got Suda 51 involved in a game, you know you’re in for a filthily quirky experience. Well, Shadows of the Damned was definitely filthy, as it was flowing with penis jokes, sex jokes, and more penis jokes. On the quirky side, however, it had its strange moments, but it wasn’t as rampant as the penis stuff. Gameplay wise, it was fun to play, but it was a fairly standard shooter. Oh, and the facial mechanics weren’t so great. Still, through all of this, I did find myself enjoying this game enough to say that it’s worth a rent.
