I’m torn. I absolutely loved Winnie the Pooh. It was well written, playing magnificently to both kids and adults, and a treat for the eyes, featuring animation lovingly emulating the classic style. However, it was far too short, even with the pre-feature short. As it reached the end, I was left wondering where the second half was. I understand that it takes a lot to passionately produce a film of this calibre, and while I definitely recommend that you purchase the DVD/Blu-ray, once it releases, so you can watch it again and again, it’s just not worth seeing in theatres.

Verdict: Wait for the DVD/Blu-ray
