Dead Block is one of those titles which makes me wish that renting downloadable content was possible. Its satirical and campy take on the “scourge” of rock and roll in the 1950s and how its evil grooves raised the dead, turning them into zombies, is humorous and well executed. However, playing through a few levels, demolishing countless pieces of furniture and searching for supplies to build blockades or traps, to simply play a few guitar riffs or turn on a zombie destroying machine eventually lost its luster. I would happily recommend it as a rental… were that actually possible.
