Kung Fu Panda 2, whose name doesn’t really denote anything all that original, was surprisingly funny. You’d think that it being a sequel to a kids’ movie it would be dull and completely trite, but it wasn’t. It had some of your standard child movie humor, but, and this is what really got me laughing, it had a lot of random wacky nonsense too. If you have kids (or are of the younger age group) I suggest you go see this in theaters, but if you’re older than say, 12, you don’t have to rush to see it.

Verdict: Wait for the DVD/Blu-ray
