The Next Three Days started off quite well. A woman is arrested for murder, and her husband, who is convinced she didn’t commit the crime even though the evidence is very strong, tries to clear her name legally. And if the movie would have stuck with that, I would have been satisfied. But it didn’t! It took a stupid action-ish turn, where he plans to break her out of jail, and the cops use supremely anecdotal clues to track them down. However, though I would have preferred it not going in that direction, it didn’t bother me too much.

Verdict: Wait for the DVD/Blu-ray
