Today is the final part in our week-long look at Windows Phone 7. After a week of using the new mobile phone operating system, it’s clear that Microsoft has the beginnings of what could be a solid competitor to the iPhones, BlackBerrys and Androids of the world, but it’s not quite there yet. While the main menu is fully customizable, its design leaves a number of things to be desired, like symmetry, and it should have launched with Adobe Flash (but that’s really Adobe’s issue, not Microsoft’s, as far as we know).

On the plus side, Windows Phone 7 functions very smoothly, even with a number of applications running, and its ability to integrate with Xbox Live is a major bonus. There was one other thing that got to me, but I’ll save it for the video. I will say this though. If I could afford it, I might get one, once Flash comes out at least. Check back next week, when I review the phone I’ve been using Windows Phone 7 on all this week.
