2K Sports is celebrating (see: promoting) the upcoming release of NHL 2K11 for Wii by taking the game on a road trip across the U.S. and Canada. The tour, called “The REAL Hockey Experience on Wii” has already stopped in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary, and is making its next stop in Winnipeg tomorrow and Saturday. Visitors to the tour bus will be able to try the game out for themselves, win prizes and, at select stops throughout the tour, meet NHL stars.

In Winnipeg, the bus will be stopping at the St. Vital Centre Wal-Mart, off of Dakota St., tomorrow, and at the Empress St. and Sargent Ave. Wal-Mart on Saturday. We’ve provided those handy links so you don’t need to find the locations youself. Both stops will be from 1 pm to 4 pm, but the Saturday stop will include a visit from the New Jersey Devils’ Travis Zajac. We’ll have more news on the tour as it becomes available, and we’ll probably check out the Toronto stop for ourselves as well. NHL 2K11 currently scheduled to release on August 24th, exclusively for Wii.
