As with Julie & Julia, Away We Go lacked any overarching drama. I mean, there were slivers of drama, but they were too small to constitute anything larger than a minor hiccup on the movie’s overall story. But, as with Julie & Julia, this movie was lovable and really quite enjoyable. The story about a couple trying to find the perfect place to live was quite simple, but it was funny, the eccentric ensemble cast was a treat, and John Krasinski flourishes really well in his role. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s a nice fluff piece.

Verdict: Rent It
