Halo 2 starts off after Master Chief has destroyed Halo, stopping the Covenant from getting their hands on a super-weapon that could end all life across the universe. But nothing is that simple, and he gets a wake up call in the form of more Halo rings, and the rapidly expanding Flood. The storytelling continues to shine, and the action is just as fierce, but the ending only feels like a setup for the third game, instead of a proper closing to a chapter in the story. There’s also a larger focus on online multiplayer, sadly reducing solo campaign play.

Verdict: Buy It
